Trainer Cody Mo has high hopes for the progressive Embraces, who is the one to beat in the finale, the Class 3 handicap (3.50) over 1m½f.  

The four-year-old wasn’t rated high enough to run in the Derby but has the profile to be a grade higher than he is. 

Embraces is reunited with 2lb claimer Jerry Chau, who won on him twice earlier in the season. 

He should sit handy to the pace throughout from gate six and has the in-form Sturdy Ruby as his main danger.
